For all of us this is both the first day of our life and the last day of our life. We live on the very front line of our existence and never really know for sure what is going to happen next; joy or oblivion, it's all the same. So I thought I would publish an occasional series of jottings on things I have done or that have happened to me over a reasonable period of time, say six months. It is not a diary or blog, being far too selective for that, just a way of loosely stacking up events, ideas and musings in a somewhat ramshackle pile.
